Inspired by functional drinks from the Far East, Dietrich Mateschitz founded Red Bull in the mid 1980’s. He created the formula of Red Bull Energy Drink and developed the unique marketing concept of Red Bull. In 1987, on April 1, Red Bull Energy Drink was sold for the very first time in its home market Austria. This was not only the launch of a completely new product, in fact it was the birth of a totally new product category. Today Red Bull is available in 171 countries and over 75 billion cans of Red Bull have been consumed so far.

RoC Skincare

For more than 60 years, that has been the foundational philosophy at RoC®, inspiring a  history of firsts. The first SPF sunscreen to proactively prevent signs of aging and the first  to discover a method for stabilizing retinol. By combining retinol with other ingredients like  Vitamin E and using innovative packaging, RoC® made it possible for daily use. Today, retinol  is still one of the greatest anti-aging discoveries in the history of skincare.

BrewDog

In 2007 James and Martin started BrewDog with a mission to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as they were. In April 2007, in a godforsaken industrial estate in north east Scotland, BrewDog came howling into the world. A decade of dog, 1000 employees, and two breweries later, they are the fastest growing Food & Drinks company in the UK, one of the Times Top 100 Best Employers, and breaking into international markets like a shark on steroids.

The Collective

The Collective was started in New Zealand by two clever entrepreneurial chefs, Angus Allan and Ofer Shenhav.  Their quest was simple… create an extraordinary yoghurt with an unbeatable taste…  In 2011 Ofer and Angus joined forces with Amelia Harvey and the late Mike Hodgson to launch The Collective under a joint venture in the UK.  Our products are now sold by 6,000 retailers across New Zealand and the UK.

Foods Europe

Nomad Foods is the market leading frozen foods business in Europe both in terms of sales and brand recognition.  We operate in 15 countries, have 10 manufacturing plants, 4,300 employees, pro forma net sales of c €2 billion.  We produce, market and distribute branded frozen food products across Europe.  Our core brands, Birds Eye, Findus and Iglo are synonymous with frozen food across the European continent.

Childs Farm

When former investment banker Joanna Jensen could not find toiletries suitable for her young daughter’s sensitive skin, she started to make them herself. The Hampshire-based company produces a range of hair and skincare products suitable for babies and children, in particular those suffering from sensitive and eczema-prone skin. The products are stocked in all major UK retailers, including Boots and the big 4 grocers. It became the country’s second-largest baby toiletries brand — behind only the American giant Johnson & Johnson and has recently been awarded SME of the year award at The Grocers Awards.

RXBAR

We started RX in our kitchen. We couldn’t believe there wasn’t a more nutritious protein bar out there.  Maybe we were a little naïve, but we decided to stop talking and try to make it ourselves.  We called B.S. on protein bars and the result was RXBAR, a disruptive clean-label snack brand.  We make protein bars.  And other things.  From our parents’ kitchen to leading growth in the bar category.  We grew from $565k in total revenue with 2 full time employees in 2013 to $130m in total revenue and 120 full time employees in 2017.

OnePlus starts with a group of innovators who saw a gap in the Android smartphone market for well designed phones that users want.  Together, they built a global and respected smartphone company that focuses on 2 things: Product and User.  OnePlus now has 600 plus employees from over 20 countries with offices in Shenzhen, Taipei, London, Helsinki and Bangalore.

Charlie Bigham’s

Charlie set up shop back in 1996 with the sole aim of creating really delicious dishes for foodies. Today, the Charlie Bigham’s brand is worth over £70m.  We make 43 different dishes at our kitchens in London and Somerset and we are proud to grace the shelves of Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Ocado, Booths and Budgens.
